What is Removable Dentures?

Dentures are custom-crafted removable oral appliances used to replace missing teeth and the surrounding tissue. Full dentures are used when all of the teeth are missing, while partial dentures are used when some natural teeth remain. Modern dentures are more comfortable and natural-looking than ever before.

Ideal Candidates

Patients who have lost several or all of their teeth due to decay, gum disease, or injury, and prefer a removable, cost-effective solution to restore their smile and chewing function.

Key Benefits

  • Restores your ability to eat and speak properly
  • Supports facial muscles, preventing a sunken facial appearance
  • Improves the appearance of your smile
  • Can be removed for easy cleaning and sleeping
  • More affordable than a full mouth of dental implants

How Does It Work?

The process takes several weeks and multiple appointments. We start by taking highly accurate impressions and measurements of your jaw to create models. You will try on several 'wax models' to assess the color, shape, and fit before the final denture is cast. Once delivered, we make any necessary adjustments to ensure a comfortable fit that doesn't rub or irritate your gums.

Recovery & Aftercare

It takes time to get used to new dentures. They may feel awkward or loose for a few weeks until the muscles of your cheeks and tongue learn to keep them in place. You may experience minor irritation or increased saliva flow, but these issues fade as your mouth adjusts.
